First off, quit using Ether. You should never use ether on a motor that has glow plugs... Bad chit happens...

We're going to need some more info to help you out... Any sputtering when it died, miles, When cranking, is the tach moving? Smoke out the tailpipe when cranking? Does the WTS light come on when you go to start it?

Welcome to Diesel Bombers by the way.

I think we found the problem. It appears to be the "injector driver module", at least that is what the scanner said. And no the tach isn't moving. No smoke. It just quit driving down the road no sputtering that I noticed. The light wasn't coming on,but we found a blown fuse and it comes on now.
We found a place in FL called COMPUTER EXCHANGE in DAVIE FL. WITH REAL GOOD PRICES. $139 FOR INJECTOR DRIVER MODULE . If this is what it turns out to be.

I would do some more checking, I doubt its your IDM. If you blew a fuse I would check the fuel bowl heater and unplug it, then replace the fuse again because more then likely its blown now as well.

IDM's are pretty rare to go out.

I agree, Not so sure it's the IDM. What code did you get that made you think that?
