Default 04 F250 wont stay running

We own a 2004 F250 6.0L. In the last year, it has had the FICM replaced and we just finished replacing the high pressure oil pump this weekend. The truck has had issues with no power, the turbo veins have been checked and cleaned also. After putting the truck back together after replacing the hp oil pump, it now won't run correctly. When we cranked it in the shop, it put out lots of black smoke and was missing badly. When we tried to drive it, it didnt make it far and then refused to crank at all! It makes a clicking noise when you turn the key over but that is about it. It has brand new fuel filters and an oil filter. The air filter is reusable and has been cleaned also. The batteries have been tested and charged. We did use our code tester and the only code it throws right now is B1676 (ABS). We are stuck as to what is going on with it. We have a baby due any day now and really need this vehicle up and running!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

it was running fine before the oil pump was replaced? i am not sure but to me it sounds like its siezed up or locked up in some way. if you can try and turn the motor over by hand to see if it moves. if it turns over fine then i would say its probably a starter or solinoid. also sheck over what you did to make sure you didnt miss a wire or something loose when putting it back together. i am not furmiliar with these trucks but if they are like the 7.3L they use the oil pressure to pop the injectors mabye its a faulty oil pump or it was installed wrong in some way. i would also take that part number and call ford and check with your vin and make sure its the correct one.

Default thanks for the help

We were finally able to get our truck up and running better than it ever has before. The problem was the alternator had gone bad for some reason and was not charging the batteries. The truck did not have enough power to keep running. A new alternator and running it really hard yesterday to clean out the gunk and air, and it is running better than it ever has!!

Thanks again!
