I have a 05 cummins with 170k miles I bought new. Its all factory except for cold air, an EDGE juice, and straight exhaust. I think I have a couple bad injectors, but Im not sure. Someone told me that my lift pump is the cause of the injector failure and that I need a high performance lift pump to keep from ruining injectors. Should I just have a couple new factory injectors installed or should I also replace my lift pump. I like the power the edge delivers but am I messing up my truck with it? I need this truck for work and I'm not trying to spend a ton of money on high performance because I'm worried about tearing it up. Any advise would be appreciated. Also, what is a fair price to pay to isolate the bad injector or injectors, replace it or them, and replace the lift pump???????
