Default 1998 Ram 3500 24valve Tps help

ok I have a 1998.5 dodge ram 3500 24valve 2wd automatic and im trying to replace the tps because when you get on it hard the truck sputters and cuts out. also its like the Torqconverter doesnt wanna lock up when im going highway speeds. so i hooked it up to obd2 and it threw the tps code But I cannot find where the tps is on the truck, so if someone could help me locate it and let me know if the tps could be causing the Tcc to not lockup that be great.. thanks in advance

The TPS or the APPS is located on the front of the engine left side. Follow your throttle cable from the firewall. Its located just above the VP44.

No fuel pressure gauge, there is a dealership sticker under the hood saying the pcm was flashed due to erratic tcc lockup in 2000 so idk if the tcc is bad or what?

Is it still giving the APPS DTC and was that the only DTC it was throwing?

Also, check fuel pressure. I'm not saying you don't have a PCM issue however it does sound like the truck is starving for fuel

The p1693 is a "tag along" code. It is telling you that there are codes in your PCM
