won't start-blows 30amp fuse @ "wait to start"

are you sure you unpluged the fuel heater or did you unplug that other plug right by it??...had a guy do that very thing the other day, thought he had unplugged the heater but didnt....if i remember right its a white plug pretty good size plug....i still think its the fuel heater....its on the same fuse with the PCM which keeps it from starting if the fuse is blown

the fuel bowl heater would be pretty much the only thing to blow the fuse.. I just snipped my wire going to the heater, the wire was damaged bad anyways, and I actually just bought a new harness.

The fuse that kept failing at key on was the 30 amp fuse located under the dash. Since replacing glow plug relay, fuel heater and now bad glow plug on the right bank i haven't had a 30 amp failure. All of this was new to me and i would not be using my truck if not for everyone who replied and of course this website. thanks you all
