The sound is coming right from the lift pump area, i was thinking lift pump or possibly the rings on 3 4 or 5
but lift pump is good news

i dont really see it being the water pump if the sound is coming from the back and side of the engine....really sounds like the lift pump to me...since it rides on a cam lobe...and it sounds like its pulsing to me not a steady squeel

cool, well thanks guys. I started it up for my dad this Christmas because he hadn't seen it yet. He then proceeded to pick up a hose and put his thumb over it..... it was the vacuum pump. I'm really glad it wasn't the lift pump or water pump.
but thank you guys for all the quick help
i feel kinda dumb for not finding that
