I have a 1993 Chevy 3500 with a 6.5 TD and I can't seem to figure out how to fix a white smoke problem on startup. During the summer weather, it smokes on a cold startup for a matter of seconds but now that the weather has dropped below 50 degrees upon cold startup the engine misses and smokes for a few minutes before clearing up and no longer missing. Once warm, the engine runs great. Any ideas how to fix this? Here are some pics below.

 

Mine done the same thing until I had the oil changed. Not sure if my mechanic done anything else or what. It still throws a little smoke, but not nearly that much.
