Default 911 truck wont move 911

took a buddy for a ride so he could hear the stacks. Didn't drive truck hard. I have driven it harder to fire calls then I did for him. Pulled back into fire house, shut the truck down and when I went to go leave........ nothing. Won't move in reverse or forward. In "N" it will roll but wont do anything in gear. I get a thunk when I first start the truck but other then that nothing.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Get this.............. it moves I got in it and tried to rev it up again and see if I could hear anything. Held the throttle a little longer and all of a sudden thud, tires squeel and off I go. Does any one have an idea why this happened?

Correct me if I'm wrong but by your sig it looks like you don't have any tranny upgrades and with the motor mods you do have with the bigger tires your tranny may be trying to cry out for some mods for itself. You know how dodge tranny's can be. And when the tranny starts to act up the damage has been done, it will only get worse. But that is my .02, I'm sure someone more experienced than me will be able to tell you more.

But I didn't drive any harder then I normally do. I rolled some coal but that's it. If the tranny was trashed explain why it did what it did and how it drives fine now.

Not saying the tranny is trashed at all, just that it is starting to act up, and once that starts it will only get worse, as an example, my bud's dodge had 180k on it when he got it, he drove it up till 200k then put a programmer on it, it caused his tranny to slip once on his way to work, so he removed it that same day, still running bone stock his tranny went completely out about 3-4 months down the road. I'm not trying to tell you your tranny is trashed, just that it sounds like it's on it's way out.

Its full and still nice and red. Doesn't smell overly burnt. Smells normal to me.

A friend suggested a valve in the valve body got stuck and it took me reving it up and holding it to unstick the valve. What does an upgraded valvebody cost for the 68s?
