starving for fuel

Default starving for fuel

need help have a 92 1st gen cummins replaced head gasket and now have to floor it to keep it at idle i have bled all the lines from lift pump to injectors could it be the lift pump not pushing enough fuel

Did you have the IP apart for any reason or take the throttle linkage off when doing the head gasket? I have had this happen on my 4bt when I changed the GOV spring and it slipped off the arm and once I figured that out I lost the timing for the throttle linkage. Once those were fixed it ran good.

no the ip sayed intacked but i did figure it out it was my return line causing all the issues running fine know thanks for the idea
