Default Chevy big block fuel block off plate help!

Ok so after installing the airdogg 2 the other day I noticed a somewhat major oil leak and after a few days I finally found it! It's leaking from the fuel block off plate.... I'm wondering if anyone else has has this problem and if maybe I did something wrong.... I put the gasket it came with on and put some black gasket gunk stuff on was that the eat thing to do???? The reason this is urgent is because I'm leaving for Oklahoma in a few days and need to get this fixed asap! Thanks guys!

Use the black Permatex. Also, be sure the seal area is really clean, and let it sit over night.
