Airdog help !!!
I just installed an airdog 150 with a 40 psi spring on my 96 12V. Everything went smooth with the install. My problem is that I think the airdog is pushing fuel through my overflow valve. The overflow valve is adjustable so I have it as tight as it will go. When I pull the inj. pump return line off of the tank and energize the airdog I get a high flow of fuel from the return line. You can also hear the fuel flowing through the overflow valve in the engine bay. Will this be fixed if I get a higher rated spring for the overflow valve or should I get the 30 psi spring for the airdog ? Also if I run the truck until this is fixed am I going to run the risk of screwing something up ? Truck sounds and runs great except for the overflow valve issue. Airdog is a little noisy but I think that is related to the overflow issue.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
