Either my new fuel pump died, or it's not getting power. I'm in Billings, MT @ Rocky Mountain Cummins. I can still drive the truck but won't be able to give it full power. Please if someone lives close, give me a call-- 406-852-3824.

 

All the fuses are good and it's not throwing codes.

 

Fuel level sender works, but no power to the pump. Please tell me there is a relay.

 

Believe it's a relay. I let it sit 45 minutes and it fired up like normal. I got a hotel for the night and I'm waiting on a schematic and scan tool and diagnostic software.

 

If it happens to someone else on an 06 Ram diesel, you got a failing T.I.P.M.

 

sorry I didn't catch this earlier. G&J diesel is the spot in Billings and I know people in Bozeman. Glad you got it worked out.

 

I'm hoping Lithia here in Billings has one. If not, I'll be able to make it back home (though I don't entirely trust the TIPM).

yeah G&J in Billings is kinda the place to go if you can, and what does TIPM stand for?

 

Total Integrated Power Module. Suppose to replace all relays, but a circuit board fails just as fast.
