Steering wheel jerking back and forth when turning
ok...a couple weeks ago my truck started being stupid when turning..it only does it at low speeds and dont do it around curves when up to speed..it does it when taking off from an intersection or something when u turn left or right..when turning, the steering wheel kinda rocks back and forth and the tires bounce..it got worse..i rotated my tires, assuming i had a broke belt in a tire or something like that..i checked all ball joints, universal joins and couldnt find anything loose or damaged..no play in the hubs or anything...all looked good..rotors ran true and wasnt warped..after rotating, i took it down the road, all tires are properly inflated....it doesnt do it no where near as bad, but still does it some...i dont know whats going wrong with it and need it fixed asap....anybody else having or had this kind of issue?

Not trying to be a smartass but its not somehow stuck in 4wd is it? At slower speed you'd be more likely to turn sharper than higher speeds which would cause it to jerk....just my .02

no its not in 4wd...i alrdy double checked that just to make sure somebody didnt turn the **** not paying attention thinkin it was the ac...and it dont do it all the time...some times are worse than others

it was under warranty so i let them do it. they are starting to go bad again. you can feel it when your at a parking lot turning sharp. i would look into spicer or napa good stuff.

take a real good look at your ball joints too. moog brand is pretty good.

Yep, I agree with DieselPap, I have friends with same prob. Dodge didn't make a good chioce when they left the axles live all the time. They have NO life !! I don't know how many model years have the same design, but there's gonna be a lot on the used car lots after the warraties are up.
