Steering wheel jerking back and forth when turning

yup sounds like u joints.

If you want to check it yourself. jack the front end up turn the steering wheel one way(key must be in aux or it wont turn). and then spin one of the wheels. it will either get to a point and you wont be able to spin it or it will straighten the steering out.
try it with the wheels turn either way and try spining either wheel

had the same thing with mine, turned out to be the U-Joints.... might wanna look into that like others are saying.
