Default I Hope Some One Can Help??????

I have a 2004 1/2 Ram 2500 diesel with bd's x cold intake kit, edge with juice and 5 inch turbo back stacks no muffler or the resonator or cat what ever they called it. and i just dont know i had it to the dealership. and they say fuel pressure is ok etc. But i swear my truck has a mind of its own for a week the truck ran like crap no power so i took the edge out and she still felt wrong and then i even checked the on of of the key 5 times and it says done no codes then so i had the batterys disconucted for a while like 2 or 3 hrs and i decided to put the edge back in and now she seems to run better but i just dont think it feels the same. I am lost. Also On the in cab monitor it shows 2 to 4 % clutch slip under roll ons with slight throtle but if i dump the cluth with the 6 speed in 2 nd and she shows no slip is this normal. Maybe i need a little teaching of a diesel truck. "give:

Just takin a wild guess at it here but I would check all the grounds in the toys. Sounds like one of them may not be makin a good connection. I would also suggest using Di-Electric grease in all of the connections just to seal them from moisisture and make sure they are making contact.

Also, don't be fooled by the on board dignostics showin you the codes. They don't show the biggest majority of them, only certain selected codes. Most parts places like AutoZone will read your codes for free and they can detect the biggest majority of them. But the dealer has also hidden some in there that only they can detect.

I would try this for a starting point and go from there. I'm sorry to say also that you may have a good dealer in your area but most of the dealers around the country don't know squat about our trucks. So you can't always trust what they tell you either. I would definatley suggest a fuel pressure guage on your truck, placed so that you can see it all the time. Your Monitor should have that on it already but I'm assuming you don't have it hooked up since you took it to the dealer for pressure readings.

I'm sure somebody on here will jump in with more experiance then me on the Juice, I'd never even heard of a clutch slippage monitor myself.

A fuel pressure gauge is manditory..................I used to have an 04.5 and I could pull the fuel pressure down to 2 psi when the truck was stock...a lil ol power pup set on performance and I could pull it to zero and make the truck stumble...................my recommendations are if ya run any type of mods at all the CP3 needs the fuel circulation so a goo after market fuel delivery pump is a must......I say must

I cant help ya on the program tellin ya about slippage but I will say ifin it actually slipped then yer clutch is done cuz it wont heal with this kinna power...it will only get worse..................one other thing is try to refrain from dumping the clutch cuz with this kinna power yer gonna brake something

Ok Its starting again it felt like it would just not pull like it did I am not crazy tonight driving home from work i pulled out in second and did not jump on it but i left it go to about 2000 2200 rpms in each gear and held it for a few seconds before shifting and it just seems like it is melow and not pulling after that. feels like it would not build up quick after that i was only in # 2 setting tow and as i got up to high gear 6th i would lug it a little and start jumping on it slowly and it just felt like a dog i am not sure what is going on but i feel like i am down on the snap it had and the pull. Is there any doctors in the house the dealers are a bunch of asses grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr: madd:

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Whats it take to get a dealer to understand its not right my god..........Grrr is it the injectors, turbo but it builds boost plenty up to 40 and over still. seems like egts seem a little higher but not dangerious 1050 1100 on a long slow pull up a small long hill. is it my fuel system i have no idea its works then doesnt work. eVERYONE AT THE DEALER SAYS ITS ME IM USE TO THE POWER BUT I KNOW WHAT IT DID AND DOESNT DO. GRRRRRRRRR NO LOW END I AM JUST LOST.

I was thinking the Clutch Slippage was only for the Autos. Try taking off the Edge and see how the engine performs. If its ok then you need to contact Edge because you may have got a bad box.

I did that once before and it seems to do the same thing with less power

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Did i hurt the trucks power by putting 5 inch pipe 4 inch down pipe to 5 inch all the way out the stacks with no muffler

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

but to add as i got up in the gears i could pull harder and build boost had it to 37 a few times in top gear but if i lug top gera it doesnt pull as hard to get back up on the revs. and in 3 and 4 setting is the same even 5 feels all wrong
