1993 F250 won't start

Default 1993 F250 won't start
I have a 1993 F-250 7.3L IDI diesel. It had been running fine on the Interstate for about 3 hours. I stopped to buy fuel, and now it will not start. Just clicks. Is it the starter????

did it hesitate to crank over the previous time u started it?

No, has never hesitated. Has started every time...

I had an 87 f-250 that would do that on occaision, it was the small wire on the starter solenoid, hope that helps.

agreed -- check to see if there's a bad ground connection

Default 1993 Ford F-250
Thanks guys!!! We were blessed to find a mechanic open on a Sunday...it was the starter...he replaced it and it is running like a top!!
