Default 2002 dodge no start

My 02 Ram 3500 shut off with no warning when I clutched it at a stop sign and would not restart. I just installed a 150gph AirDog pump about a moth a ago and am still getting 15-18 psi at the pump. It will try to start but just "chug" for a few sec. and blow black smoke then shut back off. Is it the injection pump bad or do I have another problem, thanks

Have you tried cycling the key on/off three times and watching the odometerer window?

no codes so far, bled the lines and got it started, ran for a day, then shut off again, but only during heavy throttle. Checked the lines and all are tight and dont appear to be leaking

Dead pedal or shutting off under heavy acceleration could be the injector pump.

I think it sounds like the injection pump

i had the same problem at one time and it turned out to be the solenoid that controls the lift pump. I put a new one in and haven't had that problem since.
