Default Ford 6.0 no oil pressure!!!!!

I am working on a 04 6.0 powerstroke in the shop and I am having a little trouble finding the problem and I hope you 6.0 guys can help me out! The truck came to us not running and the guy said it just shut down while driving down the highway and hasnt run since. He also said that for the last few weeks it had been getting harder and harder to start in the mornings. My first thought was HPOP cause I have seen this before and have replaced them. But after I pulled it in the shop and and was checking all the fluids and all, I went to turn the engine over and noticed the oil pressure gauge in the truck was showing nothing! So I pulled the oil pressure sensor and stuck a mech. gauge in the port and turned the engine over and the engine has no oil pressure at all! I pulled the oil pump out and it looks fine, no cracks and everything looks to be up to spec. So I figured maybe the pickup tube in the pan is stoped up.....well I just finished pulling the oil pan and nope its not stoped up! So idk what to look for now. Has anyone run accross this before

Is this an early 6.0 or a later. I've seen high pressure oil pump leak out the back of the unit causing the no oil pressure on the early powerstrokes and I've seen the later ones either loose the oil pump or blow the branch tube. I suspect a branch tube issue. While you are in there pull the IPR and look at the screen, clean or replace as needed. If the motor was in I could tell you how to power the system and put air pressure to the HPO system and find the leak.
