Annoying & unneeded warm up valve
on my 97 7.3 powerstroke when its cold out the warm up valve which i think is located right on the turbo, comes on...this is fine while letting it sit to warn up but when i go down the road as long as im not hard on the throttle it activated and takes tons of power away even though the truck is more than enough warmed up to operate. i think this is unneeded on my truck so can i take that out without doin extensive work to it? maybe just disconnect something to make it not come on? .....Thanks

OK. If you want, you can delete that valve. I can walk you through it if you would like... Have you ever pulled the turbo? Your best bet with an OBS truck would probably be just to unplug the actuator and wire the valve open.
