Installing engine
I'm installing a newer 7.3idi in my 94F250 and need some input. There just aint' much room. Can I install the starter after the motor is installed and how do I get at that top bolt on the starter if I can? Any other tips for installing would be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty much doing this myself.(I've removed the front clip already)
Of course you can install the starter after the motor is in. I know that they design these trucks tight but not being able to change the starter with the motor in the truck would be b*llsh*t if you ask me.
Not to mention I have done it is is a pain in the arsh but can be done.

yeah your right about it being tight. First diesel so I'm just learning. I agree with the whole idea of it being screwed up if you gotta lift the engine to get the starter in and out but I've seen some strange engineering on vehicles.
Any tips on installing the 7.3L engine?
