Default Please guys, I need help right away!

I just installed my FASS 150 in my 2001 Dodge. I bumped the key after i got everything done and the pump runs for a second and quits. There isn't even any fuel in the filters yet. I need help right away!

you might have to do that a few times to prime the system. if that don't work you can always pressurize the fuel tank with a rag and an air nozzle, use a regulator to regulate it to 5-10psi and see if that helps it move the fuel on through. but letting the pump prime itself is the best bet. maybe fill the filters up to give it a boost?

I had that issue with mine and had to open the drain on the fuel filter so it would free flow then I bumped the starter and it took off like mad............couldnt get the drain closed fast enough......................each time you bump the starter you need to go to off with the key before the next bump

Started to put in my 2 cents, but I see wiser minds have applied better ideas!
All else fails, check for voltage and make sure where the problem lies.
Good Luck!

I left it on for the fuel heater. Minnesota gets pretty cold. I took the cover and filter out of the stock housing, bumped the kep about 6 times and it finally filled up. Is it only supposed to run for a second when you bump the key?
