I have a 05 dodge 3500, with the auto. When it starts to down shift from OD, but before it fully down shifts. It shudders. You either need to get into it, or get out. It will rattle the **** out of ya. I had to turn the power down because of the loss between engine and wheels (significant loss) . I pulled the oil pan off to inspect and have 2/3rds of a metal ring, that appears to be about 6 inch in diameter lying in the bottom. The truck works good other than that. and if your carefull, you wouldn't even know that there was a problem at all... Would sure love to have some help with this one...

 

it broke the od snap ring for the clutch pack tranny needs to be built

 

can you buy that snap ring?
