I have a 2001 dodge cummins 5.9 extended cab. Just have exhaust, intake, AirDog 165 separator, Edge Juice W/ Atti. The truck was originally a automatic transmission but I have now swapped it to a manual, put a NV5600 in it with the transfer case that came with it both of which were also out of a 2001 dodge cummins. Everything went good and smooth I put in a South Bend dual disk clutch and clutch hydraulic. So the issue is, now I have a check engine light on because of some codes. P1693 P1899 P0720 P1763 P0713 P0753. Biggest problem is now when I start it up and start driving (start in 2nd gear usually) my truck cuts me off at 2,000 RPMs in 2nd gear and then I shift and it also does it in 3rd gear but will not do it in 4th, 5th, or 6th. But after I have gone into 4th gear and downshift I can get back over 2,000 RPMs in 2nd and 3rd gear. So basically after it cycles past those 2 gears it is good to go. Also it my truck goes below 1/4 tank in fuel it does this 2,000 RPM cutoff in every gear the entire time untill I fill up with fuel. Please help with anything you may know. Thank you!

 

Get or rent a smarty tuner and get them to send you a manual tune. That might clear you up.

 

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge installed? sounds to me like the drawstraw for the airdog may not be cut to length correctly or in the wrong location in the tank.
If you have a fuel gauge is it fluctuating at below a 1/4 tank?

 

I have good fuel pressure and never had that problem when I had the automatic tranny in it just started to do this after the manual tranny was put in never messed with the AirDog or fuel at all

So I got a update. I got a smarty and got a code from them took care of the cutout and the low fuel cutout. Still currently have codes popping up but not affecring truck at this point. Going to talk with smarty more to see if we can get them to not pop up anymore. Thank you everyone!
