Default new clutch! need a slave?

i just put a SDD 3600 in my truck and after putting it all back together i had no pressure on my clutch pedal. im gettin pressure to the slave but its not compressing the clutch. is there air in it? if so? is there any way to get it out?

you might have to pull the whole unit as one, bleed it on a bench, and reinstall it as a complete unit thats what i had to do. unless your lucky enough to have a bleed screw

Unless you took the system apart, or the slave leaks you should not need to bleed the system. Is there any chance that the rod that goes in the end of the slave fell out? If it did, then when you pushed in on the pedal you probably blew out the slave. If this is so, I would just order the updated hydraulics from south bend instead of getting another stocker.

Are you sure you put the throw out bearing in?

when i pulled it of the tranny the rod did not come out so there shouldnt be any air in there but i dont know what else it could be. how exactly do you bleed the whole system? yes i put the throw out bearing in. it goes on the clutch fork right? this is really ticking me off. if its not one thing its another
