Oil in radiator
I have a 2000 cummins 5.9 24v I need some help with. I have a large amount of oil pushing through the radiator. It starts as soon as you crank it. The truck runs smooth with no miss at all. We pulled the exhaust manifold and there was no sign of water there. It is getting water in the oil. I have already changed the oil cooler and put new gaskets. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you already changed the oil cooler then my next guess is either a blown headgasket, cracked head, freeze plug in the head loose or cracked cylinder liner. Pull the Valve cover and see if you have water flowing anywhere. You can run the truck at idle without the valve cover.

This is just an update on my truck in case someone runs into the same problem. The crack ended up being where the main bearings are oiled and the front cylinder wall. I ended up buying a new block and gasket kit rebuilt the motor and its running like a champ.
