Im not exactly sure what a 6cta8 is. What application is that? Agricultural?
It should be a pretty straightforward job and should just be a matter of pulling 3 bolts, pulling the old stat out (its a good idea to test it) and putting a new one with gasket back in. Reinstall your bolts and check for leaks.
