How do you replace a thermostat in a 6cta8 cummins(450c)?

welcome to diesel bombers and what exactly is the problem and why do you need to change the thermostat

Im not exactly sure what a 6cta8 is. What application is that? Agricultural?

It should be a pretty straightforward job and should just be a matter of pulling 3 bolts, pulling the old stat out (its a good idea to test it) and putting a new one with gasket back in. Reinstall your bolts and check for leaks.

I would think it should be pretty similar to this: TSB 07-07-94
