85 f250 no mods. Was braking to a stop and the truck stumbled and died. Replaced fuel pump on block. I am getting fuel to the injection pump none past. I am getting 12volt to the pump. I took off the cover the gear and pump are turning. I believe the injection pump to be bad I did check the solenoid it is working. Any suggestions on a source or site with data on rebuilding the pump? Thanks for all the help in advance.

 

Have you got power to the fuel return solenoid??

BTW, it's wise to let a diesel shop bebuild the pump.

 

I have 2 wires to the pump 12volt to one only the other has about 1volt.

 

Run a jumper wire from one to the other. Then try and start.

 

Tried that still no luck.

Got it going it was a bad relay in the injector pump. Thanks for the help.

Ok final update the real underlying problem........fuel filter clogged nbut still putting fuel through. new filter in and I got my truck back.
