Code reads glow plug circuit open on number 8 cylinder.

The truck has just over 100,000 miles with the banks kit, so do i just want to change one glow plug or all of them and are the injectors also going to need service soon.

Also is this a straight forword job or I need to take it to a dealer? Thank for any info

 

change them all also you can do it its not that hard its just a pain in the ***

 

you have to take the valve covers off so it's better to do them all at the same time. To get the valve covers off you will probably need to take the turbo hose off on the drivers side and the tranny dip stick on the passenger side. Figure on at least 4 hours.

Circuit open means the harness to that plug is damaged.
