Default what could this be?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok so i just bought my 06 3500 DRW and everything is great except for one small problem. i flew to texas to pick it up ran great got 21.5( hand calculated) all the way back to iowa going 75-80 the whole way. only problem is i noticed a small crack on the exhaust manifold and when i get on the throttle i can hear a hissing ( pretty loud) comming from underneath. I have a warrenty but could this just be from the exhaust manifold or is it something else? I only noticed it when i really accelerate hard but it definatly sound like a booost leak or air. or do you guys think it might be something else? I have a 2 year unlimited mile bumper-to-bumper warrenty so not to big of an issue but if its something simple i will just do it myself. The dealer said if it was the exhaust manifold they would pay for it but i just wanted to see if anyone else had some opinions on what it could be.thanks

It could be a boost hose. Look over the hoses that connect the plumbing and the intercooler. Also check the torque on them, I think Ive read somewhere that there is a very high torque requirement on the clamps.

Look around the engine compartment and have someone run the throttle.
