Default OIL COOLER END HEADERS CAPS

HI!,I HAVE A 94 FORD 7.3IDI IN A E350 VAN, OIL COOLER HAS FAILED TWICE IN`65000MI SINCE ENGINE REBUILD.COOLER IS NOT NEW, JUST REDONE WITH RINGS AND GASKETS BY FORD AND OTHER SHOP. AFTER I REMOVED IT I NOTICED SLIGHT WEAR GROOVES WERE THE O-RINGS REST IN THE END HEADERS. I HAVE BEEN SERCHING FOR A SOURCE FOR NEW HEADERS, FORD SAYS NOT AVAILABE. IS THERE A METAL (ALUMINUM) FILLER THAT CAN BE USED TO FILL THESE SLIGHT GROOVES AND THEN HONE SMOOTH?. I WAS TOLD I MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE A COOLER DELETE KIT AND DO AWAY WITH THE PROBLEM, I HAVE SERCHED TO NO AVAIL, CAN'T FIND ANY FOR THIS ENGINE. PLEASE REPLY AS THE VAN SHE AIN'T A MOVING. THANKS

you cannot delete the cooler but the idi and the di powerstroke use the same oil cooler and most guys at parts stores and sadly even dealership parts departments dont kno this because to them if the computer don't show it then they can't get it but you will need to be carefull because the headers are different from the idi trucks to the idi vans but i'm not sure if they did that on the powerstrokes. don't kno if this will help but i hope it does
