O6 2500 Ram No A/C
Hey is anybody out there having trouble with a/c on their dodge. My a/c went out one second cold air next warm. The light on the panel indicates its on, the blower is working but warm air is coming out. I drive between Texas and Florida for construction as you can tell I need a/c. I understand the tipm can go bad. Here's the kick in the a"# the odometer just crept past 36000 miles.

Have you tried to put power directly to the compressor clutch to see if it gets cold then? The ac clutch is controlled by the ECM so the problem could be with something in the other engine controls. Is your check engine light on when the A.C. is not working? A code check might be helpful.

check the wiring
ours was going out and the guy went straight under neath and did something with the wiring to the ac and it hasn`t stopped working since but since it is right at 36 000 he went a head and ordered a new compressor for it
just waiting for him to have time to put it on

Hey guys thanks for the replies, nuthing seems to be working yet. Put the gauge on the low side and it was reading 135 psi and I know its only supposed to be in the 45psi range so sh#@

The Comp in this rig has been changed twice and the newest one reflashed the last time i drove in from Florida to Texas with a trailer. The injectors where not opperating correctly

135 psi without the compressor running means that you have freon in it. The low side pressure is around 45 to 60 only when the compressor is running. At least it means you probably don't have a leak in the system. You have something electrical wrong not letting the compressor come on.
