Hello all, I have an 02 ford psd and it runs for about 3min. and shuts down it starts up again! i changed the cam sensor first, the same problem any clues out there? also i there away to pull codes without scan tool? thanx BMF

 

Unfortunately there is no way to read the codes without a scan tool. You might have a dirty fuel filter.

 

I changed the filter two months back. Its funny because it starts right up runs for a min and shuts off!

 

It might be worth hooking up a fuel pressure gauge and watch it when you start it. You might have a fuel pump that is not working all the time. It should have about 60 psi fuel pressure.
