Default gear oil leak

I have a 01 Ram 2500 5.9L. There is some gear oil all over the parking brake shoes and the drum. The leak looks like its coming from where the parking brake assembly bolts to the axle. I just don't know how to get in there. I pulled the axle out, but the seals and other stuff I don't know how to deal with.

See if you can rent/borrow a seal puller. Changed mine, no sweat.

After you've pulled the shaft out, you need a special socket to take the spindle nuts off. Once the spindle nuts are off, you can pull the hub assembly off and change the seal that is in the back of the hub.
