anyone got any ideas on what would cause my air con/power windows not to work when i tilt the steering wheel+ i got codes1687&1693.

It works if you don't tilt it? That doesn't make sense to me. Does it not work in any position of the tilt?

Sounds like a bad electrical connection in the steering column.

ok guys, took it apart and found a wire pulled out of the connecter,fixed it but left the lights on while replacing a license plate bulb(killed'er good)so i'll charge her up and check my work,thanks guys.

Probably all runs across the column to the fuse box or something.
