why did you swap the injector in the first place also is it the same as the others or has the truck had bigger ones installed before and now that is a stock?

first all stock injectors, #6 was not firing so first thing was inj. only thing done is was a fuel plate

This post got me thinkin here, If I'm not mistaken aren't those crossover tubes one time use and have to be replaced. Or is it possible that you may have gotten this injector to tight and crushed the tube blocking fuel flow through it.

Have you checked that there is no fuel to this line coming out of the injector pump or just not feeding the injector. If you do this be careful of high pressure fuel, it's dangerous.

Harbour freight has 2 different diesel compression testers.One for about $30 and the other for about $150 I was working on our ford when i bought it and neither had the adaptor for the 7.3 so I got the cheep one and tore a glow plug apart to make my own long reach adapter both sets go up to about 600 psi so they will work O.K.here is the link to both of them. 12 valves dont have crossover tubes

Hey you, don't tell me I'm wrong. Especially when I'm listening to Bill for idea's.

My bad, thought I remembered this bein a problems in some threads of the past.

thanks, has anybody heard of a bad delivery valve, one of my friends thinks that might be i the problem?
