Maybe the overdrive solenoid in the transmission. Also,the apps can cause shift problems. Mine had salt water from Ike. Changed the solenoids and helped, but apps was also bad. Doing fine now, thank goodness!! Drove me nuts for a while. Hope this helps. Both are cheaper than a new transmission!!

 

id love to find a cheaper way but i already took my truck up to the tranny place. yes its time for a new tranny =(
