Default Tow mirrors.. electrical problem

Well i put on my set of kool vue towing mirrors today on my 98 12v. Hooked up all of my electronics. Put the door panels back on and buttoned everything up. Hit the adjustment lever for the mirrors and nothing They are power and heated. Then after driving it down the road i realize I have no radio. My radio is dead. Also I realized I have no interrier lights at all. The harnesses on the mirrors looked to line up great. I cant really think of anythgin thats causing this. My new mirrors wont move, not at all. I checked all of my fuses and couldnt find anything. Anyone know if I shorted out something ? And how to possibly fix it? Thanks

How did you check the fuses? Just looked at them? You need to do a continuity check on them. I have seen more then one fuse look fine but be bad.

I would get the old test light out and start checking conections. Start at the mirrors and start working backwards to see were you lose power. Same thing with the radio.

Thanks.. gonna try that tomorrow. I heard that I may have pinched my wires while installing them when i tighten the bolts that support the mirrors. But i dont see how that would effect my radio or dome lights.. they wont work now.

Found the problem.. Blew my IOD fuse in the cab fuse panel. How do I fix it? Replaced it with another 10 amp but blew it again. Should i bump it up to a little bigger fuse?

I replaced the fuse with a 15amp. Everything works but my mirrors only turn certain directions. Like the passenger wont go up and down the but the driver side wont go to the right.. So im guessing I have a cut wire now?

Everything works!! Turns out i pinched a wire even after the 2nd time of putting them on. Everything works good on a 10a now! Thanks guys
