2003 6.0 stall after about 3 miles - HELP
My 2003 F350 starts fine then about 3 miles down the road it stalls . I have to let it sit for about an hour and it will run for about another 3 miles and stall again . Does anybody have a clue what is going on with this truck

Had my truck looked at today . The fuel pressure is good at start up but will slowly go down and then it will stall out . Look like fuel supply problem but I can't figure why it will not re-start until it sits for an hour . Any ideas or suggestions out there would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

I got more info on my truck . First I took it to shop close to the house . The guys there our good people and they thought they had it figured out . They said it was a fuel pressure switch and and update to the software of which both were recalls . They suggested that I take it to Ford and have it worked because they are recalls and Ford has to do them for free. I took my truck to Ford and they were really good about looking it over right away . But here comes the bad news I was informed that by the service tech- (also good guy) that the problem with my truck is the oil pump and might also be the oil coolers as well. Best case about 2200.00 worst case 3100.00 - if the oil coolers need replacing . Bummer . I had lots of good people trying to help me out with problem . Good news is I get my truck back in couple days. That's the happy ending.
