just installed a new shutoff silnoide in my injector pump for my 6.9 f350. Now it won`t shut off. I have to throw a towel over the intake.
Fires right up with no troubles
I had no troubles before the shutoff burnt out.
I am sure that I installed it wrong. I can`t find a diragram showing me what I missed.
It dose`nt look like the arm is touching anything
Can anyone help me ?

 

did you get the arm on the right side of the shutoff pull it apart and be sure

 

I am really not sure I am going to tear it apart in the morning,
Can I install the shut off switch and then put the top on it?
or will it fall to the bottom?

 

The solenoid is bolted to the lid. Need to kinda set it up toward the back of the pump, then pull it down toward the front, until it lines up with everything.

 

Well thanks guys. Tore it apart again,
It seemed odd that when I first installed it , it was`nt touching anything , then the second time I was thinking that I may have broke off a tit while taking it off. The third time I found that I put it in backwards. What a lame brain.
I will be patting myself on the back for weeks pulling that stunt
