Sorry for not getting back to y'all, life got in the way. No luck so far. It doesn't look like the programmer. What's got me baffled is it only seems to show up when the weather is warm. I'm at a total loss unless the APPS is going bad.

Moisture problem in a sensor(s) sounds like. Can try and adjust the APPS: https://www.dieselbombers.com/24-val...ting-apps.html

If that doesn't work, look for codes. If no codes, completely drain the filter bowl, and clean/flush it out. Up to you, but can change out the filter again.

Just throwing ideas out there, hopefully one of em works.

I've already adjusted the APPS, did that last summer. I haven't had the codes checked recently but in the past nothing shown up. I can proably get them checked friday.

If your APPS is still the one that came with the truck, chances are it's out of adjustment, and that means replacement.

Please update to.

It was over 70 degrees today and its worse than its ever been. I'm going to see my favorite mechanic tomorrow. Will let everyone know what I find out. Need to get it fixed, have to make trip east next week.

No the truck fires no matter what, always starts in the first couple of cranks. Anyway got to see the mechanic today and the good news is we found the problem, the bad news is its showing injector pump timing failure. So its vp44 time for me anywho I've been checking online and I'm not real sure were to buy my pump from. Any suggestion or experience with any of the online vendors would be great.
