Summit no longer sells the wiring harness, but LMC does. It's on page 24 of the catalog currently and the part #55-9505. It sells for $29.95.

Let us know how things go.

I'm quite sure the part works. I am wondering if there isn't a typo for the sport version as it shows two for the sport: both 9505 and 9506. Maybe the sport version uses both bulbs? All I know is that I have the kit as shown in the picture and it works fine on my Laramie '01. Actually on the top line it shows it for all models on the top line. Maybe you can wait until tomorrow and just call them?

Actually now that I think about it, I am quite certain that the sport model uses both bulbs and thus requires the two different part numbers. I think you are perfectly safe with the part # I first gave.

This harness uses one of the sockets from the original harness to power the relays that will control the headlights. You will still use the stock switch, the main difference using this kit is that the headlights are powered directly from the batteries, which will give you a brighter light, the kit is fused, and you won't run the risk of burning up your headlight switch due to the load; now all it powers with the harness is the relays. Hope that clears things up.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

UPDATE: Truck is finally fixed. Turned out the be the ground wire that ran from the drivers side to the passengers side in the harness. It was violet and white. Somewhere in that wire it must of freyed apart. tested the ground in each socket at each lamp. Noticed that the passengers side had no ground. Ran a new wire to replace that violet and white under the truck that was bad and everything works now. Thanks for all the help it was much needed

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out. I am a bit surprised it was the ground, as you will usually get a very dim bulb with a bad ground.
