OK... went back to some basics. Took the fuel line loose at the fuel pump and put air through the lines back to the tank, then put air on the tank with the schrader valve removed from the fuel filter until the fuel ran solid into a clear hose and container. Then I drove it about 30 miles round trip....no problem, with one slight exception. When we started back and I first started the truck the engine temp light came on dim at first and then got brighter but the gauge never got over half way. The fuel filter light did come on briefly just before we got home but the truck never sputtered, stalled or quit.
Whadayathink???? Gremlins????
