so my "07 has been running like crap, after some fooling around yesterday I finally got it to throw a code.....(put load on the truck by doing brake stand)
P0302

ok,so how do i fix it? is it a simple injector swap or something bigger?
is this an easy fix?
I have a PPE Programmer, currently set at stock

So this sounds like what happened to my Dad's 07 5.9L work rig.
We had already went through 4 other injectors, all covered under warranty, but on the 5th injector failure the shop was backed up and couldnt work on the truck until about a week later. Again the truck is a work truck and cannot sit unless necessary, and the dealership told us to run it.
About two days before the appointment, the engine blew a hole in a piston, and the dealership finally changed all 6 injectors (like the should have after the second injector failure...) and changed the longblock assembly.
So get into the dealership as soon as possible-let the warranty take care of it, and be careful between now and then! (Of course you need the remove your programmer before going into the shop with it.)

I'd love to take it for warranty, but Dodge in it's infinite wisdom won't honor my warranty since I brought the truck from Texas to Canada, and Canada won't honor the warranty because it's from out of country.....got to love free trade!

Exaactly what I would do first. Swap 1+2 and see if it moves. If not, then I would think about doing a compression and leakdown test. Are you blowing any od colored smoke? White or blue?

Diesel Nut,the smoke is blue, leaving me to believe its unburned fuel not blow by or heaven forbid water...as soon as I get time,(weekend) I'll swap the alleged injector to a new spot
