rail pressure gauges are required only if you are putting a timing and duration prorgam on the truck that raises the rail pressure. I don't know if the edge does that to be honest but I'm not sure you need one either.

see your PM's but only do that if you trust your fuel source as per my notes to you. if you go to unfamiliar stations leave it on.

got it. can you record the sound it makes and send me a MP3 file or something? I don't really know what it is if that is how you describe it.

your other option is contact the company you bought it from to get a replacement if it is faulty.

Something to also keep in mind is that an aftermarket lift pump system will fluctuate in tone when you have something draw current on your electrical system.

Well you didn't say that there smart ***.

My guess is that you have a bad ground somewhere then. All your grounds or neg's are they body grounds or terminal post grounds? If they are body grounds, take them all off and make them all battery post grounds, you will be much, much happier.

Check all the posts for fit and finish and clean them up (12V+) and you should take care of the noise just by doing that.

Completely Normal!
Also , Just read one of the other post, These pumps need to have a relay and hotwire to the battery!
