rail pressure gauges are required only if you are putting a timing and duration prorgam on the truck that raises the rail pressure. I don't know if the edge does that to be honest but I'm not sure you need one either.

thanks for the list of things to check. Should i remove the stock screen in the tank on the tube?

got it. can you record the sound it makes and send me a MP3 file or something? I don't really know what it is if that is how you describe it.
your other option is contact the company you bought it from to get a replacement if it is faulty.

Something to also keep in mind is that an aftermarket lift pump system will fluctuate in tone when you have something draw current on your electrical system.

That a good answer there i wounder what would cause that it is hooked to the same battery as my amp hummmm

Well you didn't say that there smart ***.
My guess is that you have a bad ground somewhere then. All your grounds or neg's are they body grounds or terminal post grounds? If they are body grounds, take them all off and make them all battery post grounds, you will be much, much happier.
Check all the posts for fit and finish and clean them up (12V+) and you should take care of the noise just by doing that.

Also , Just read one of the other post, These pumps need to have a relay and hotwire to the battery!
