No, the wires messed up are the ones running into the valve cover gasket harness. the engine harness is in bad shape!!!!! Yet i'm replacing both valve cover gasket harness, engine harness, and idm relay if i can find it. My cousin say driver side fender but no luck finding it... any help??? thanks tony
He's pretty much right... but there is a bit more to it and likely why you can't find it..
This is what I found...
it is located in the drivers wheelwell, on the door pillar to be more precise. You will need to pull the rear of the fender skirt out of the way to see it, as it is way up in there -- it's not complicated, but getting the fender skirt out of the way is the tricky part. There are a couple 10mm bolts that need removed before you can pull it out, but it's not hard. You will need a decent length extention to get the mount bolts.

Thanks a million found it just where you said..it looks as if it has seen better days it has moisture damage. Can these things be checked ?
I checked the glow plugs resistence on the passenger side today and they read [front to back]
#7 = 1.0, #5 = 0.8, #1= 0.9, #3= 0.8, Are these readings good or bad ? My goal is to check every thing while i have it tore down...thanks tony

O.K got my parts in yester day. I ordered a new engine harness and valve cover gasket harness for both sides, got it all installed an NO LUCK. the heavy sparking is now half of what it was before but still the engine turns over slow with the batteries being drained down to nothing all within a 10 second time frame. Could the pcm or the idm cause it to drain so fast?
