Mine is the ext cab 4 doors that the doors open up opposite way. The half doors. It is the long bed to.

If I'm going to overhaul my 98 12v cummins motor what piston should I run in it. I'm using the truck to haul with. I know I have to bore the block.

 

Your starting to venture out into 12 valve land and I can't say for sure my guess would be some stock Mahle OEM pistons unless your going to do Nitrous or serious sled pulling. Check with Jkidd on here or DieselPap they can give you a better idea about what to get for a 12Valve overhaul. There are some guys who are active on the site still try 94 12valve or wpg6.5 they know the 12valve very well.

 

You might as well make a new thread in the 93-98 dodge Cummings section. you will get more exposure for whats going on now.

I'm thinking about rebuild my 98 12v right now it's stock but I know I'll have to bore it I use this truck for towing so what piston should I run. An should I do anything else to it

 

I was wondering if anybody out there in diesel land know if u can put a 24v Cummins out of a
99-02 dodge in my 98 dodge that had a 12v in it. What would I half to do to get it to work if able to.
