ok guys thanks for all the help, looks like the pump is bad, new check valve and still no fuel pressure when truck is running, only 12 lbs with return line pinched off. still having trouble believing that the pump went bad sitting at work all day. truck ran fine on way to work. so far a new lift pump (didn't need) new cam sensor (didn't need), new check valve (didn't need) bummer

Any updates? was the new lift pump bad?

no don't think the liftpump is bad, put on the new adjustable check valve? and still wont run unless return line is pinched off. Old check valve appears to be ok. looks like internal failure on the vp. one other thing I did notice tho is it acts like a gas motor with a bad starter will crank good but wont start until you let off the key or charger on it. oh yea 12 lbs when idle, line pinched

Interesting have you load tested the batteries if voltage is lower than 12 volts the ecm won't be able to control the VP.

jetfuel yes checked batteries 14 volts when running , 12 when not, starter not drawing more than normal.. working to many hours not enough time to work on it as much as I should , thank goodness I have another vehicle. will start to tear pump off tomorrow looks like

tried everything in process of pulling pump, I am going to pull it apart to see what it its about inside, guy on another site said he fixed his . I am going to try it. will keep you informed
