NO WTS LIGHT OR SCAN CONNECTION
#11
Nope. I'm Not getting any fire when cranking. Some how My OBD not reading/connecting effects or is effected by a relay. If my 2 yr old glow plug heater relay is completely froze I will replace it tomorrow and see, (Can't find an old one that was working). Thanks alot.

Like I suggested, never reuse a relay and I highly recommend buying genuine relays from a IHC/Navistar dealer yearly if you have one nearby. Pt# 1831646C1. Suprisingly cheaper than Ford and I don't think much of the aftermarket ones. If you're not getting smoke or anything, the PCM is not coming on. Scanner power comes from cig lighter fuse on all OBDII vehicles, all brands, cars & trucks. Even if PCM is fried, you will still get a code, the scanner will still power up and give you a P060 something code. If it has a chip in it of any kind, programmer or physical chip you will get a P0605 code which is also the PCM has failed code. If you don't know about chip, remove your E brake assembly from kick panel & you will see a hole in sheet metal so you can see if a physical chip is inserted into back of PCM, if that is case, remove the chip and start over. If still doesn't start, make sure you can power up scanner at least dude. Make sure a penny or dime didn't get into cig lighter hole as fuse will blow as soon as key is turned, same for #22 fuse in PDC if there is a short anywhere in fuel heater circuit. But then again, the other 2 dash lights below WTS light wouldn't come on either if PCM were fried, tough one man.
