I just changed my oil about 500 miles ago and changed the fuel filters at the same time and I also just added a oil bypass system. so I don't think its my oil im thinkin it could be the EGR valve im goin to try and look at it tonight and clean it out.

There kind of a pain in the *** to get out I usually soak them in power service fuel additive for a while then take a wire tooth brush and get it cleaned off

ya ive been able to get it out just using a couple of mini pry bars but it was acting up again today so I just unplugged the EGR valave to see if it was the problem but it just kept doing it so im back to either injectors a diferent sensor or maybe a air flow problem? I also checked for codes while it was doing it but there weren't any.

Your egr valve may be stuck open don't rule it out also I've seen FICMs cause erratic idles if they start going south

it turned out to be 4 of my injectors are bad. this might be a dumb question but can you still drive with bad injectors or would I damage the rest of them or other parts of the enginge

Odds are the spool valves are just shot I've driven them 20000 miles like that but when you get a chance replace
